What is the difference between Kbps and kbps? or What is the difference between kBps and kbps?
Word Contains Lowercase b is a bit.
Word Contains Upper case B is a Byte.
There are 8 bits in a Byte.
Bits are used to measure true speed of how many 1’s and 0’s are going thru a connection.
Bytes are used to measure the size of a file.
The speed always gets jacked up because we should be measuring in bits, but MS always measures in Bytes per Second.
Kbps and kbps are same but not KBps and kbps
Kbps= KBps/8
